Hey!
I'M DANIELLE
A singer, actress, DJ,
breast cancer warrior,
writer and inspirer
I
was born and raised in Cape Town and you could call me a "multipotentialite" because I'm
passionate about many creative pursuits; singing, acting, DJing, painting, graphic design, salsa dancing, cooking, anything to do with my right brain, count me in!
"Who says you have to do just one thing?
Life is too short not to play!"
Heading 5

I was blessed to have parents that supported my dreams and sent me off to chase them, becoming a global citizen of the world at the ripe age of 19. I lived in London, Los Angeles, New York in my carefree twenties (which you can read all about my adventures in my blog memoirs.) I moved to the Holy land Israel, longing for my Israeli roots and a bit of soul and lived in Tel Aviv. The war happened and I came back home to Cape Town, I have been back since 2015 and couldn't be happier to be surrounded by the ones I love. Family is everything to me and I'm so blessed that we are so close especially during these unprecedented times.

To make a living from my art (my bio) while travelling the world is the greatest blessing and I don't take it for granted for one second. One of my career highlights was playing the lead alternate role in the hit musical EVITA, It was an absolute dream come true. I taught myself how to DJ between musical tours and I love bringing joy to people through music it really does have the power to connect us in such a wonderful way. When I am not on stage or behind the decks, You can find me at my easel painting, usually large figurative or portrait oil paintings.
In 2019 I was fortunate enough to play the lead alternate in our second tour of Evita which toured across 10 cities in China, would you believe I was in Wuhan in September 2019 and left China just before the Chinese New Year when the Corona virus outbreak started.
Never could I have imagined that 2 weeks before our tour ended, I would find a lump in my breast.
In 2020 I braved my journey fighting breast cancer as if COVID 19 wasn't enough right? ;)
I completed my treatment by the end of 2020 and I'm 5 years in remission, now!

"2020 was undeniably the most profound year of my life, I learnt so much about myself and grown in ways I couldn't have imagined. I documented my journey in my blog with the hope of helping other young women who find themselves in my position."
I have become a passionate breast cancer awareness champion as so many women think "it will never happen to me". The power of the mind is an incredible thing, I managed to find meaning to what I was going through which allowed me to see the silver linings. My hope is that I can help and inspire others to do the same.
I'm a firm believer that

"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have"
